SDCC stuffs again


The condom broke when I was with my girlfriend! Oh noes!

What? Surely we're not the only ones who play condom toss, codom roll, and condom crash.

Mike's bright idea about what to stuff Renet's DDs with, was water-filled condoms. They're stronger and more jiggly than water balloons. And you know what? He's right. I tested it out this afternoon, and they make for good Renet boobs. But, uh, they don't do well against bookshelf ends. >_>

I also did a test-pack today to find out what I can do without and what I should put in my carry-on. I'm only taking a few shirts, and they're ALL going to be TMNT shirts. Even my nightshirts. I thought about packing something nicer instead, but if I can travel two months with just a thermal long sleeve and two short sleeves, I think I can make it a week with a few of my favorite t-shirts.

I'm definitely saving space by getting my toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, body wash) once I'm in SD. [info]stalker_of_doom  and I are going in together on some of these things since just one of us won't go through an entire container of any of them. Plus, they can be a hassle to get onto the plane.

I need to get in touch with a few people to exchange phone numbers.

I'm not sure if I gave you my number or not. I planned too. I'm still not clear as to how your minutes will work. Is it going to cost you an arm and a leg to get a call from someone who just wants to know if you're heading over to a panel that just opened?

I dunno what my call costs in the US are going to be. From what I understand I will be linked into a local network provider while I am there and be charged what ever that provider charges for calls. Local calls incoming and outgoing I will be charged at that networks' local call rates, with possibly a small additional fee for using global roaming (this depends on the the network I end up using, and I don't get any choice in that matter. It's whichever network my provider has a deal with at the time).

Another reason why I don't know what it will cost me in the end is it will depend on how strong our dollar is against the Greenback at the time. I will get a bill for my cell phone usage a few weeks after I get home, and I am fully expecting that to run into a couple of hundred dollars. By then my tax return should have landed in my bank account, so that will help cover the bill. So I'm not going to go nuts and talk for hours on the phone while in the US, but I'm also not going to be shy about sending/receiving messages or chatting to people in order to meet up.
